Preschool Fees Overview

At Gundagai Preschool Kindergarten, fees are structured to support families and ensure access to quality early childhood education. Many families are eligible for Start Strong Fee Relief, a government initiative that significantly reduces daily preschool fees based on each child’s circumstances.

 

How Fees Work

• Fees are typically calculated per day and can vary depending on your child’s eligibility for Start Strong Fee Relief.

• Families may also be eligible for additional equity fee reductions if they hold a low-income health care card, pension card, or if their child is Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

 

Payment Requirements

• Fees are payable one term in advance.

• Fees are still required for public holidays, absences due to sickness or family holidays, and with two weeks’ notice before leaving the service.

• Pupil-free days, such as end-of-year shutdowns and special event days, are included in fee requirements.

Families must provide up-to-date documentation to confirm eligibility for Start Strong Fee Relief and any additional equity fee reductions.
