History
Gundagai Preschool Kindergarten commenced operation in 1969, in the St John’s Hall. In 1974 a capital grant was received and the present building erected. The Preschool was officially opened in November 1975 and has been operating at the present location since. All parents become members of the Preschool Association on completion of the membership form and payment of the $20 enrolment fee when they enrol their child.
The preschool is a non-profit charitable community organisation which provides early childhood education for children three years to less than six years. The preschool requests parent and community support in making children’s lives outside the family home a happy and rewarding one.
