History
About Gundagai Preschool Kindergarten
Gundagai Preschool Kindergarten has been a proud part of our community since 1969, when it first operated from St John’s Hall. In 1974, a capital grant enabled the construction of a purpose-built preschool, which officially opened in November 1975. The preschool has operated at its current location ever since.
In 2022, a capital works grant was secured from the NSW Department of Education, allowing for the construction of the current modern preschool facility, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-equipped environment for children and educators alike.
All parents and carers automatically become members of the Preschool Association upon completion of the membership payment, helping to strengthen the partnership between families and the service.
As a non-profit, charitable community organisation, Gundagai Preschool Kindergarten provides quality early childhood education for children aged three years to less than six years. We rely on the continued support of families and the wider community to help create a happy, nurturing, and rewarding environment for every child beyond their family home.
