Management Information

Our community based not for profit Preschool re-invests into the service!

 

The management of the preschool is the responsibility of the approved provider, the management committee. The management committee is comprised of parents and community members. Members are elected to the management committee at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in November.

The committee employ the staff, are responsible for the annual budget and oversee the organisations strategic and business plan. They assist the Director with staffing and the day to day running of the preschool.

The preschool complies with the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the funding agreement between the Preschool and The Department of Education. The service has policies and procedures and a constitution. 

The executive positions are all voluntary. The preschool cannot operate without a committee of management.

 Managment Committee Meetings
​The management committee meet once a month. The role of the management committee is to ensure the preschool is managed effectively and are responsible for.

 

  • acting as approved providers of early childhood education service

  • employing staff 

  • ensuring the preschool is financially viable and sustainable 

  • accepting and acquitting funding received

  • compliance with legislation and law
